Screenshot of a Windows XP desktop taken from a ThinkPad X32. The background used here is a screenshot of the Ice Cavern level from the original Spyro the Dragon game on PS1. A few icons for applications are on the desktop; including Internet Explorer 6, Chrome, Audacity, two different Minecraft versions (one is 1.7.9, the other is an older one I can't remember), Firefox 3.6, SpeedFan, Expat Shield, VirtualBox, SkyStudio Pro, PlayMemories Home, Cyberlink PowerDirector 8 and the viewer software for a Microsoft Lifecam webcam. This also has a custom appearance added, which has a somewhat dark, minimal appearance. The start button graphic in particular is replaced with a circle illustration of some kind

an old screenshot I took of the desktop I had with the Windows XP install on my ThinkPad X32 laptop.

the background is a screenshot of the map from the Ice Cavern level (?) in the original Spyro PS1 game. the custom appearance I used is GSM VS, which you can find an archived link for on the Internet Archive
